Ice skating can be deemed a hazardous activity and is undertaken entirely at your own risk. The SSE Arena, Belfast will not be held responsible for any loss or injury incurred due to the activity. Please ensure to follow Arena Covid-19 guidelines below.

By purchasing a ticket and entering the Arena you agree to the following:

  • Your ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Management reserve the right to refuse admission.
  • For health and safety purposes, management reserve the right to amend or withdraw session times, or restrict usage during periods of high demand.
  • Ice skates should be properly fitted before taking to the ice. You will not be permitted onto the ice without wearing appropriate ice skates.
  • Children 12yrs and under should be accompanied by an adult.
  • An adult can only accompany a maximum of 2 children who require assistance on the ice at any one time.
  • Bobby Seals are subject to availability and on a first-come first-served basis. A 30 min hire period is applicable to these skating aids.
  • The SSE Arena, Belfast is a non-smoking building and smoking is not permitted.
  • The SSE Arena, Belfast does not permit the use of photography, video or audio recording unless consent is obtained from Management.
  • The SSE Arena, Belfast reserves the right to take photographs, audio or video recordings for promotional use. If you do not agree to be photographed please advise a member of staff immediately
  • You must strictly adhere to the safety rules set out by The SSE Arena, Belfast.
  • You must adhere to any instructions given by either the Management or Ice Marshals during your session.
  • You must wear appropriate clothing for ice-skating; no loose clothing, hats, scarves or hoods can be worn on the ice.
  • You agree to behave in an appropriate manner and accept that you will be asked to leave the Arena should you cause offence or disturbance due to anti-social behaviour without refund.
  • You are not permitted to skate while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or other control impairing substances.
  • You agree not to cause damage to any of the property of The SSE Arena, Belfast.
  • You agree that you will not bring any food or drink into The SSE Arena, Belfast and any food or drink purchased will not be taken onto the ice.
  • You agree that personal items such as bags, phones, cameras and mp3 players are not permitted on the ice. Lockers are provided at a cost of £1. The SSE Arena, Belfast takes no liability for lost or stolen belongings all items are left at your own risk.
  • You agree to be considerate to all other skaters during the session.

Covid-19

Please be aware of the latest Government guidance regarding Coronavirus. We ask that customers do not come to the Arena if they are feeling unwell with any Covid-19 symptoms.

There is no requirement to demonstrate your Covid Status on arrival, however we encourage customers to take a lateral flow test prior to their visit.

We will continue to review our entry requirements, in line with updates to legislation and evolving government and health advice and as such, entry requirements are subject to change.

Face Coverings

Face coverings are mandatory and should be worn on arrival and throughout your pre and post skating tasks, unless you are eating/drinking, or exempt. Face coverings are not required on the ice.

Track and Trace

For track and trace purposes we must record the details of ALL customers aged 16+. If you are attending WITHOUT the person who booked your tickets please ensure you fill your details in via our QR track and trace code on arrival at the venue.

Sanitisation and Cleaning

We ask that you sanitise your hands on arrival and regularly wash and sanitise your hands throughout your visit. We’ll have enhanced cleaning before and after the visit and additional sanitisation during the event.
